Sorry I haven't been able to blog lately: as usual, I'm busy with my routine of napping, eating, pooping and getting attention lavished upon me. Dad goes to something called "work" every morning so mom and I have lots of time together. She's fun to snuggle up next to (see below). But when dad gets home, he likes to bathe me and lets me dry out. Needless to say, it's a bit embarrassing!
When we're done with bath time, mom and dad talk to me and make me smile and laugh. I'm just humoring them, though. Something must be wrong with them since they talk to me like I'm some kind of idiot. They're good people, though, so I'll keep them around.
After a bath, bottle and diaper change, mom and dad lie me down in my bed for some well deserved sleep. They always put a blanket over my legs and chest, but I enjoy squirming my way out. Just the other day, I managed to get the blanket on my head, but since my arms aren't that coordinated yet, it looked like a turban. Mom and dad just laughed and laughed. I'll get them back with stinky diapers!
That's my routine as of late. Check back again later!

The Holy Sacrament of Baptism
The Sucessor of Peter left the Church Militant today, yet another soul entered the Holy Catholic Church as a new child of God. As one man dies and goes on, a child is born anew in water: Sic transit gloria mundi.
Andrew Joseph was baptized today into the faith as a member of the Body of Christ. Although many view this day as one of mourning, our family rejoices that another soul is won for Christ. We are now entrusted with his formation, and by the grace of God, we will succeed.
We have been fortunate enough to see many of Europe's greatest cathedrals, shrines, and monuments. After reflecting on those experiences and watching our child receive the lustral waters of baptism today, all else pales in comparison. Those churches, as beautiful as they are, are merely stone, brick, mortar and glass and are destined one day to fall. But this child, his parents and every one of us possesses an immortal soul that will last for eternity. By the grace of God shall we go, and the gates of hell shall not prevail.
