Andrew's birthday was last week. Grandma called to wish him 'happy birthday' and in the course of the conversation asked him what special things he was going to do. He volunteered that he would get to have a 'special pineapple dinner' (i.e. - frozen Wanchai Ferry sweet & sour chicken) at home. Grandma asked if he would get to help cook it.
Andrew responded, in near disbelief, as if that was the most ridiculous thing he'd every heard, "No! I'm just a kid! I can't cook my own dinner!"

"Man Has Tail"
I had to go grocery shopping last week. I normally try to go at night, but had to get some things for dinner so the kids came too.
At one of the stores, there is a guy who always walks around with a feather duster in his back pocket. I'm there almost every week (and so is he), so I'm used to seeing it.
The guy-with-feather-duster-in-his-back-pocket walked by our cart briefly as we were digging into the bulk bins. I saw him out of the corner of my eye and knew who it was. As he walked away, Peter excitedly exclaimed, "Mom! That guy has a brown tail! It's so SILLY!"
