more teeth!

Clara now has about (at least?) 8 teeth - at 9.5 months.
4 on top, 4 on the bottom.

This is my best guess, as she's not too keen on either of us sticking our fingers into her mouth to check...

millions of peaches, peaches for me

FINALLY got Clara to take more than 1 bite of something!
And she didn't even make the 'ugly' face.

The girl likes peaches!

In fact, she liked them so much that when I got up to put them away (thinking she was done); she whined a little, like "where are you going with my snack?!"

Clara now has 2 teeth!
Both on the bottom...

1st one appeared around Jan. 14ish

Clara rolled over today for the first time (front to back)!!

Clara was crying while I was holding her.
Peter stopped playing and came from the playroom to check on her.

P: "Maybe she's hungry."
Me: "Nope, I just fed her."
P: "Well, maybe she needs a diaper change."
Me: "No, I just did that, too."
P: "Well, maybe she needs a big brudder."

Awww....

(and he was right...she stopped crying when he came out!)

Growing Girl

I have yet to find a baby book I like for Clara...so I'll be keeping track of things on here apparently...

At 2 months, Clara is growing well!

10 lbs, 12.8 oz.
86% for height!

First Smiles!

Clara smiled today!
at 4:30 a.m.
for the VERY.FIRST.TIME!!
(5.5 weeks old!)

Smart girl...she knows Mom needs some extra encouragement to get out of bed THAT early!
