to tuck or not to tuck...

Andrew tucked his t-shirt into his basketball shorts.
Me: "Honey, you don't have to tuck in your shirt."
Andrew: "Well, I just want to look perfect!"

Me: "Well, you don't tuck stuff into those shorts. Just church shorts."
Andrew: "Well, Grandma tucked in my sweatshirt that one time...."

Ah...grandmas...

Easter 2010 - part 2

Easter Sunday - mass, photos, Easter baskets, egg hunt and a spectacular meal cooked mostly by Jim!

The boys dressed up for Easter

Mom and the boys -
I love Peter's face in this one!

Pop-pop and the boys

Easter "baskets" - chocolate crosses, sidewalk chalk, dominoes, sacrifice beads, magic capsules, flowers to plant and slinkies (which were destroyed by the day's end).

Eyeing the contents - we were mean parents and made them wait until AFTER mass for their stuff.

Peter and his sunflower planter.

Andrew and his flowers.

Time for the Easter Egg hunt!

"Ha ha ha! It on Pop-pop's tire!"

Peter and the duckie basket.
Can you tell he did his boots himself?

Jim's spectacular pasta dinner - complete with meatballs, Italian sausage and ribs. And some of the best wine, ever!

Easter - part I

Nanny & Poppa hosted an Easter egg hunt at their house on Saturday for the "big" boys - Ethan, Andrew & Peter. Baby Luke blissfully slept through the majority of the day...but next year, he'll be in the running!

Peter got a 10 second head start...which wasn't really helpful...lol.

Andrew filling his basket.

Ethan finding eggs.

Peter finds one in a grassy spot.

I got 6 eggs!! :)
(Nevermind that Andrew found 12-13 and Ethan found over 20!)

Andrew happy with his treats.

Big E

Attempting a group shot...

2nd try...

Final attempt - they were ready to eat their treats!

Little Brothers ARE good for something...

Andrew hates pickles.
Peter likes pickles.
Therefore, any pickles that mistakenly end up on a burger or sandwich belonging to Andrew will get transferred to Peter's dish.

The other night, Andrew & Pop-pop went out to dinner before their hockey game trip...for burgers. Andrew's burger (of course) had pickles on it.

Andrew, in some distress said, "Oh no! Peter's not here! Who's going to eat my pickles?!"

Peter, the baker...

Andrew & Pop-pop went to a hockey game...so Peter and I made some cakes for Easter. He thoroughly enjoyed 'helping' (i.e. - trying the batter).
