Peter's birthday - part III

Peter saw a version of this cake while mom was perusing a recipe website and picked that one RIGHT away!

Peter's birthday - part II

Nanny & Poppa came over for dinner and cake & ice cream.

Peter took out a piece of tissue paper and said, "oooh...cool!"
We had to tell him to keep going and that there was more stuff in there besides just tissue paper. :)



"Here's your dollar, Nanny."
He was going to give it back to her...
She had to convince him it was his present!

Peter's Birthday - part I

We visited a local train-inspired ice cream place for Peter's birthday. You pick the ice cream and 'mix-in', they put it on a special train that delivers your treat to the register. Then, you get to sit at cool spinny chairs and watch little trains drive by while you eat your ice cream. It was a hit - the boys were already conspiring to try to go back the next day!

After visiting a mall in Kansas City, Peter excitedly told us what he got to do:

"It a bimp!" (blimp)
