The boys were in the backyard pretending to squirt each other with their squirtguns (which didn't have any water in them).

A: "I'm going to get you!"
P: "You can't get me, I already got YOU!"
A: "Well, God made me all better. He's a big boy in Heaven!"

Peter's Ingenuity

Peter likes big trucks, and bulldozers and backhoes and all other construction-type vehicles. (He calls them all 'Snorts' - due to reading "Are You My Mother?")


As we don't have any 'snorts' at home, he got creative and decided to make one out of a Little People fire truck and their tiny dustpan.

"Some stars are tinkly."

"Are the crickets 'cricking'?"

"Seagulls! Seagulls!" (as a flock of Canada geese fly overhead honking)

Visit to the "Pato Park"

One of the local parks has a great playground for the boys and even ducks to feed. These ducks saw us coming from a LONG ways away and started waddling towards us (fortunately the boys remembered we should bring bread!). The boys call it the "pato park" because Andrew learned that "pato" means duck in his Spanish class.
